SHAVE COMPASS BEARING
Flor de Dragones settles firmly in Shadow & Smoke. Its bright opening of pink grapefruit and bergamot gives way to rose, clean florals, rum sweetness and gentle spice before a much darker drydown takes control: smoky oud, suede leather, earthy patchouli and ambered woods. That contrast gives the scent a long route across the map, with the vivid citrus opening pulling it toward the Citrus Grove border even as its lasting character remains deep, leathery and shadowed.
ARTISAN DESCRIPTION
Flor de Dragones was born in a place that shouldn’t exist, an ancient canyon where the cliffs burn red, the sky turns violet, and the wind moves like something alive.
The first breath is pure desert morning: pink grapefruit and bergamot, bright, crisp, cutting clean, finished with a clean soapy sparkle like fresh steel and cold water.
But as the heat rises, the myth steps closer.
A forbidden bloom opens in the distance: velvet rose wrapped in clean florals, laced with rum sweetness and a gentle spice that pulls you in without asking.
Then the shadow passes overhead.
The drydown is where the legend lives, oud rolling in dark and smoky, suede leather soft but dangerous, grounded by earthy patchouli and glowing with ambered woods. Musk hums beneath it all, while warm tonka-oak lingers like the last light on canyon stone.
Fresh at the strike.

Flor de Dragones is our own original scent, created from the ground up in collaboration with the hosts of Shave Masters—Douglas Embry, John Bonham, and Barry Bedford (A Texan Shaves).
HATHOR X Base Shaving Soap
HATHOR X is the evolved version of HAGS' original HATHOR base, rebuilt for greater structure, water tolerance and consistency. The upgraded base is designed to produce a denser protective cushion, increased slickness and stronger residual glide while leaving the skin soft, moisturized and comfortable without a greasy or tacky finish.
The surface is firmer and more substantial than the previous HATHOR formula, giving the brush more controlled purchase during loading while allowing the lather to accept more water without losing body or stability.
Why “Hathor” — Reforged
The name draws from Hathor, the Egyptian goddess associated with joy, nourishment and power. HATHOR X keeps the skin-focused character of the original base while adding more structure, presence and control.
The Process
HATHOR X is made using a controlled hot-process method intended to create a tighter, more resilient soap structure. That construction helps the soap absorb substantial water while retaining density and stability from the first pass through the final rinse.

Directions
HATHOR X has a firmer croap texture and should not be bloomed. Load the brush directly from the soap surface for approximately 10–15 seconds, then build the lather in a bowl or directly on the face while adding water gradually. The base performs best when fully hydrated.
Scent Strength Indicator
The scent-strength meter on the bottom of the jar represents fragrance intensity after the soap has been lathered rather than the strength straight from the container.
