BIC Chrome Platinum plays much closer to Feather territory than its Sharp heading might suggest. It has an exceptionally sharp edge and serious cutting ability, but many shavers find it smoother on the face than Feather despite the comparable sharpness. BIC also has a reputation for holding onto that edge, with some shavers finding it gets even better after the first shave rather than quickly fading. It still deserves respect from your technique, but raw sharpness is absolutely part of what defines this blade.
