Watermen live on the water. They work it. They breathe it. They read it. They know what affects it, what its effects are, and what happens if it isn't given its full respect.

In this territory, the Watermen are both the scents and the artisans who build around water in its many forms. Ocean, rain, sea spray, and the wet stone left behind after a storm. Not one note, rather a condition, present throughout the territory. Ambergris, sandalwood, cedar, and earth often wash along the banks, creating a sense of time spent on the water rather than just looking at it. Mimicking nature, the route through will change with how much weather shows, and which direction it's blowing in from.

Follow the water, and you'll end up somewhere else on the map before you meant to.
